Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to over 700 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health and primary care treatment to patients in Central and Southern Illinois. We provide fully integrated care for all of our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A, as well as provides employee assistance programs internationally.

 

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Outreach and Enrollment Worker to work within Chestnut’s family health center at our Bloomington, IL location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide eligibility assistance and assist uninsured community members register for Medicaid or a Marketplace product.
  • Financial intake, community outreach and assist to link patients with ancillary services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma with at least three (3) years’ experience in case management, financial intake, patient advocacy or related field.
  • Must be able to participate in required state and federal required training and pass Certified Application Counselor training requirements.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable.
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
