Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Chestnut Health Systems is seeking part-time or full-time interns for a semester (or year) long internship in our Outpatient Adolescent program, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas
Conducting counseling and skills groups, individual and family counseling, Treatment Plan development, conducting assessments, creating diagnoses, and transporting local clients to/from groups.
Master-level student. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, working towards a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, and willing to work at least 20-40 hours per week. Must be willing to work with adolescent substance abusers and their families. This would most likely be an unpaid internship/practicum.
