Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Recovery Specialist to work at our Granite City, IL location, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas.

• Assist with engagement of clients into services.
• Provide active linkage to and promote utilization of communities of recovery and ancillary services.
• Support, model, and teach recovery values including hope, respect, empowerment, health and wellness, and spirituality and connectedness.

• Requires lived experience along with a high school diploma or equivalent with at least five (5) years’ related work experience.
• Or lived experience along with a bachelor’s degree in a helping profession.
• Experience in the self-help and local recovery programs preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must meet qualifications for agency auto insurance coverage.
• Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
