Overview

Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to over 700 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health and primary care treatment to patients in Central and Southern Illinois. We provide fully integrated care for all of our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.

 

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a part-time Receptionist to work 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday at our Bloomington, IL facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reception services.
  • Greet and direct clients and visitors to the desired destination.
  • Answer multi-line telephone: transfer, take messages and announce calls.
  • Answer basic questions about clinical services or direct calls to appropriate staff.
  • Assure safety of clients and visitors in waiting room.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Position requires a high school diploma/GED.
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel required.
  • Prior experience with multi-line switchboard helpful.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be dependable and available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
