Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time, 3rd shift Recovery Assistant (Transporter) to work within our residential substance abuse treatment program at our Maryville, IL facility, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas.


  • Monitoring clients
  • Assisting with daily programs


  • Must be 21 years old with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Must display an interest and ability to work with youth effectively.
  • Must regularly be available for weekend shifts.
  • Availability for different shifts a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Experience in working with adolescent substance abuse (alcohol and other drugs) is also preferred.
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
