Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Housing at our Madison, IL location, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas.



  • Supervision of the “CMR and CRI” Housing programs.
  • Working with individuals who have a co-occurring disorder or a serious mental illness. Teach “consumers” how to navigate through their Recovery path toward increased independence. Coordinate development, planning, implementation and evaluation of services to all governing policies and procedures including screening and compilation of funding data.
  • Must have knowledge of the “recovery-oriented” model of treatment (including hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness) and harm reduction and housing first practices.
  • Must know how to implement these practices and set an example for all staff to model and adopt. Current or former consumers of mental health or co-occurring services are strongly encouraged to apply.


  • Master’s degree in a human services field; or a Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required. Minimum of one (1) year supervisory and administrative experience required. IL license-eligible preferred.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable.
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
