    Chestnut Health Systems’ Adult Chemical Dependency program is seeking a full-time, 1st shift Adult Residential Counselor for our Bloomington, IL facility.


    • Monitoring clients.
    • Assisting clients with daily programs.


    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • Or a high school diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related field.
    • Experience in working in adult substance abuse treatment (alcohol and other drugs) is preferred.
    • Must display an interest and ability to work with a diverse group of people effectively.
    • Good oral and written communication skills are also required.
    • Must obtain CADC certification within two (2) years’ if teaching skills groups.
    • May transport clients if in possession of a valid driver's license and insurable.
    • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
