    Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Data Support Analyst for our Bloomington, IL facility.

    • Monitor the help desk system and quickly respond to trouble tickets. Troubleshoot and correct data systems errors, getting help from other data team members and provide expertise to others as needed.
    • Perform general administration, maintenance, and documentation of corporate database applications with minimal supervision. Can demonstrate basic administrative knowledge of all major supported systems, including user management, understanding and supporting processes that update data, and ability to find and effectively use system and troubleshooting documentation.
    • Attain intermediate knowledge of a least one major data system and act as primary administrator of that system. Administration activities include:
      • Create users.
      • Perform backups and restores, and regular maintenance tasks such as patching.
      • Document regular procedures, troubleshooting tips, and changes or upgrades.
      • Establish new or improved existing procedures as needed.
    • Assist with development of systems improvements and seek ways to integrate these systems as appropriate, as assigned by the Data Systems Manager.
    • Attain proficiencies in core technical competencies for the position, as defined in data team procedure manuals and as assigned by the Data Systems Manager.
    • Establish and maintain good working relationships with relevant internal and external customers and collaborators, while providing timely, effective support for such individuals and organizations.
    • Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service.


    • Position requires an associate’s degree in an IS related field and one (1) year general applicable experience; or a minimum of two (2) years’ of equivalent combination of training and experience in database administration, programming and report writing.
    • Excellent organizational skills are required.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills are also required.
    • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
