Overview

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a part-time Quality Improvement Clerk to work 8 hours per week at our Granite City, IL facility, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas.

Responsibilities

  • Assist QI professional staff in the coordination of on-going QI activities, including compliance and safety processes (including but not limited to preparing/tracking/copying documents and creation of simple reports).
  • Data entry related to quality improvement activities.
  • Creation, review and distribution of documents to summarize quality improvement activities.
  • Assist in preparation and follow-up for all accreditation and monitoring site visits (including but not limited to document preparation, non-clinical chart reviews).
  • Provide regular briefing to immediate supervisor regarding current and anticipated pertinent QI issues.
  • Incorporate into performance of duties/responsibilities and promote within the work environment, recovery values and trauma informed care principles.
  • Participate in professional training, educational activities and meetings in order to achieve/maintain professional development and upgrade knowledge/skills.
  • Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service.
  • Maintain and protect confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to financial and client information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Application skills using Microsoft Office required.
  • Keyboarding, accuracy, attention to detail, and logic skills required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
