Overview

Help individuals in recovery in your role as an outpatient Mental Health Court Clinician. Chestnut offers a team atmosphere and advancement opportunities. The successful candidate may be eligible for one of several student loan repayment programs! This full-time position is based in Granite City, IL.

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based therapy for individuals, groups, and families. Consult with specialty court personnel about referrals, treatment recommendations, and client progress. Attend court with clients/families, providing court reports and/or testimony. Act as court liaison with other Chestnut staff, services, and programs. Provide immediate access services as needed. As a peer leader, provide clinical guidance to less experienced staff. Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus CADC certification OR bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ supervised mental health experience OR a Master’s degree and obtain CADC certification within two years of hire. Prefer experience working with families and/or specialty courts. Willingness to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach Family Training (CRAFT) and CRA. Must be CRA certified within 3 months following training. Basic computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record (EMR). Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and must be insurable.
