Responsibilities

  • Setup and Configuration: Install, configure, and deploy PCs, mobile devices, hardware peripherals, and software to staff locations.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs, software, peripherals, and connectivity using in-person and remote tools. Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of IT tickets while providing guidance to junior IT staff.
  • User Training and Support: Provide end-user application training and ongoing support to staff as needed.
  • Systems Maintenance: Assist in system maintenance, networking, and infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Network Systems Manager or Information Systems & Security Manager.
  • Inventory and Organization: Manage the computer storage room and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Uphold Chestnut Health Systems’ commitment to customer service excellence through professional communication and responsiveness.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Safeguard organizational data, including sensitive client and financial information, in alignment with company policies.
  • Additional Duties: as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Position requires a minimum of one-year (1) experience and/or training and/or certifications in Windows 10, MS Office, general PC troubleshooting, related peripherals, and customer service. 
  • Demonstrable skills in configuring PC hardware and peripherals such as printers / scanners is required. 
  • Experience with Windows OS client installation and configuration; knowledge of mobile devices is preferred. 
  • Ability to work independently utilizing web and other resources whenever possible to resolve work orders and assignments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, both written and verbally as required and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable. 
  • Must be able lift 10-20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 40 pounds for occasional projects.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $17.00 -$18.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
