$2,500 Sign-On Bonus – Behavioral Health Clinician III

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus – Behavioral Health Clinician IV

 

Starting pay is based on education, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and local market conditions.

We're seeking Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians (LCSW, LCPC, and LMFT) to join our interdisciplinary team in Bloomington, Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment, continuing care, and discharge plans that support long-term recovery.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group counseling services.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational, therapeutic, and skills-based groups.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, peer support specialists, recovery staff, referral sources, and community providers to coordinate integrated care.
  • Participate in court-involved and justice-related services when assigned.
  • Provide consultation, mentorship, or clinical guidance to interns, students, or developing clinicians as appropriate to licensure and experience.
  • Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care and person-centered treatment throughout every client interaction.
  • Uphold Chestnut's standards for customer service excellence while maintaining confidentiality of all client and organizational information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program and organizational needs.

Qualifications

 

Behavioral Health Clinician III

  • Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Eligibility for Illinois licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
  • Must obtain Illinois licensure within two years of hire.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and eligibility for agency vehicle insurance coverage.

Behavioral Health Clinician IV

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Active Illinois LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT licensure required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and eligibility for agency vehicle insurance coverage.
