Overview

Support housing residents in their goal to live independently, ensuring that they have the resources they need. This is a daytime, full-time, position based in Bloomington, IL.

Responsibilities

Provide consumer-driven services identified in IM+CANS, primarily IATP, therapy, community support, case management, and medication training and monitoring. Use evidence-based practices focused on skill-building. Advocate on clients’ behalf, referring and linking them to community resources. Help tenants to maintain a clean, safe living environment through encouragement, modeling, and at times completing cleanliness tasks.

 

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field OR bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field of study plus two or more years’ BH experience OR high school diploma or equivalent and five years’ social service or peer experience OR high school diploma or equivalent and be a CRSS or CPRS in good standing with the State of Illinois. Basic computer skills and experience including MS Word and an electronic medical record. Must have a valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable.
