Overview

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Clinician for our Bloomington, IL location to work within our court treatment programs.  This clinician will work with current participants in the Drug Court and Recovery Court (a mental health court) treatment programs. The clinician will work directly with a multidisciplinary team that includes many departments of the court house including: State’s Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Probation Department, Jail Staff, Police, and Judges among others to help clients address mental health and substance use related issues. Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic and assessment evaluations with clients and their families; write bio-psychosocial reports to address diagnosis and patient placement criteria with guidance and oversight as required.
  • Plan and implement treatment for clients with guidance and oversight as required.
  • Conduct admissions and discharges.
  • Develop Master Treatment Plans (MTP) and determine continuing care plans with guidance and oversight as required.
  • Provide individual, family and group counseling and rehabilitation services to clients and their families (all levels, including advanced or specialized therapy skills). Clinical functions determined by individual training, experience and assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Facilitate skills and educational groups as required by the program.

Qualifications

  • Must have a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field and must be eligible and obtain CADC certification or licensure within two (2) years' of hire date. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable (when applicable). 
  • Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut's background checking process.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,000 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
