Responsibilities

  • Be part of treatment court team that helps individuals in recovery
  • Provide consumer-driven substance use and mental health services (individual, group, and family therapy; skills and educational groups) to adults
  • Promote the recovery model of treatment including harm-reduction, trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness.
  • Refer and link clients to community resources.
  • Provide services in the community as needed. 
  • Demonstrate skill building in evidence based practices such as trauma-informed care (TIC), development stages, Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET).

Qualifications

Must have a master’s degree in social work or counseling.  MO license of LCSW, LMFT or LPC is required. CADC in MO preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable. Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word and the use of an electronic medical record (EMR).

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $54,000 - $61,000 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. Check out additional benefits here!
