Overview

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Driver to work at our Bloomington, IL facility.

 

Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to over 700 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health and primary care treatment to patients in Central and Southern Illinois. We provide fully integrated care for all of our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A, as well as provides employee assistance programs internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Transport adult clients to and from treatment and medical appointments.
  • Coordinate transportation and communicate any client issues with Chestnut Health Systems staff.
  • Monitor and report any vehicle maintenance issues to the maintenance department.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of addiction, recovery, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Maintain documentation of all services provided within the required time frames.
  • Meet or exceed productivity expectations as determined by supervisor.
  • Coordinate services with treatment team and other supports to ensure continuum of care.
  • Demonstrate proficient computer skills to perform job duties.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Support and model recovery values.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and sensitivity to individual’s cultural beliefs and values.
  • Function as a team member, attend meetings and client staffing (as needed), participate in program development activities and provide support and backup to other team members as necessary.
  • Maintain and protect client confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial and client information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must meet qualifications for agency auto insurance coverage.
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate boundaries and professional interactions with clients.
  • Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between  $15.00 - $16.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
