Overview

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Housing to join our dedicated team serving Madison and St. Clair Counties, Illinois.

The Associate Director of Housing will play a vital role in ensuring access to affordable housing, fostering community partnerships, and promoting trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Housing Clinical Department services related to affordable housing in Madison and St. Clair Counties
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate services
  • Promote evidence-based practices including recovery philosophy, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, and Community Reinforcement Approach
  • Provide annual recovery/trauma-informed care training, co-led with individuals with lived experience
  • Participate in the Integrated Alliance committee and sub-committees
  • Foster positive relationships with landlords, community partners, and government agencies
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, interns, and volunteers, ensuring compliance with funder requirements
  • Coordinate and maintain referral sources, especially related to Continuums of Care
  • Provide direct services to clients and families, and ensure staff meet service level expectations
  • Uphold Chestnut’s standards for customer service excellence
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of organizational and consumer information

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a human services field with relevant experience;
    OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with at least 5 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory/administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $57,500 - $65,000 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
