Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a part-time Research Field Interviewer to support community-based research in Klamath County in Southern Oregon.
This isn't a desk job. You'll spend much of your time in the community locating and connecting with research participants, conducting interviews, collecting follow-up data, and helping individuals stay engaged throughout the study.
The work requires persistence, flexibility, strong people skills, and knowledge of the communities you'll serve. Some participants may be difficult to reach, so success means knowing how to problem-solve, build trust, and keep trying when the first approach doesn't work.
If you're comfortable working independently, enjoy meeting people where they are, and want to contribute to meaningful substance use research, we'd love to meet you.
Since 1973, Chestnut Health Systems has been improving lives through behavioral health, primary care, substance use treatment, prevention, research, training, and community partnerships.
Chestnut's research division conducts nationally recognized research designed to improve behavioral health services, treatment, recovery, and outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
As a Research Field Interviewer, you'll help turn that research into meaningful data by building relationships with participants and making sure their experiences are represented.
Think you'd be a great fit but don't meet every qualification?
Chestnut is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. If you're excited about this opportunity but your experience doesn't perfectly match every requirement, we encourage you to apply. We'd love to learn more about your experiences and how you could contribute to our team.
To be considered, applicants must attach a resume, complete the application, and answer all screening questions.
Chestnut welcomes applications from qualified individuals with recovery experience.
