We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. This full-time evening position will work throughout Madison, Greene, Calhoun, Jersey, Macoupin, Montgomery, and Bond Counties. This role is essential in supporting individuals during moments of emotional crisis, promoting recovery through trauma-informed care, and connecting people to vital community resources. Preference will be given to applicants who live within these counties.
The Crisis Intervention Engagement Technician provides community-based outreach, engagement, and crisis intervention services for individuals experiencing untreated mental health, substance use, or co-occurring challenges. This position works closely with individuals in non-clinical settings, supporting stabilization, safety planning, and connection to appropriate services.
